The generous members of the Dufferin Piecemakers donate fabric, supplies, and countless hours of their time to create quilts and other comfort items that benefit various community groups and organizations. 

Some of these groups include:

- Bethell Hospice  
- Cedar Heights Residential Living  
- Choices Youth Shelter  
- Dufferin County Community Support Services - Meals on Wheels  
- EarlyON Child and Family Centres  
- Family Transition Place  
- Headwaters Breast Cancer Care Program  
- Pillowcase Project  

Additionally, monetary donations are made to local food banks, and we have supported an education grant to the Museum of Dufferin. 

We also sponsor prizes at the Orangeville, Shelburne, Caledon, and Grand Valley Fairs. 

In recent years, DPQG has donated over 100 quilts annually and engaged with our community during emergency situations. During the COVID-19 pandemic, PPE was made for the front line healthcare workers, and special quilts in Ukrainian colors for individuals displaced by the ongoing war were distributed. 

We love our Dufferin, Orangeville, and extended communities and support them with all our hearts.
